Services for Clyde H. Monahan, Sr. will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held 1:00-2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Monahan, 92, died Saturday, October 11, 2014.
Born in Marion County, SC, January 4, 1922, he was the son of the late Thomas Lafayette Monahan and Callie Jane Hayes Monahan.  He was the widower of Thelma Hayes Monahan.
Survivors include his children, Elizabeth Webster of Floydale, William (Emily) Monahan of Dillon, Ruthie Britt of Fairmont, NC, Clara Watson, Clyde Monahan, Jr., and Audrey Owens, all of Dillon; grandchildren, Jay McKenzie, Angela Britt, Mary Ann Roberson, Ann Kate Monahan, April Monahan, Kelly Monahan, Jimmy Watson, Christian Watson, Jamie Webster, Joy Caulder, and Ashley McKenzie; 7 great-grandchildren.
