Boy Scout Troop #761 of Dillon made a donation on December 15 to the McLeod Dillon Cardiac Rehabilitation Dr. Douglas Jenkins Scholarship Fund from proceeds raised from their annual BBQ fundraiser in November, 2014. In 2006, Dillon Family Medicine established this scholarship fund to provide scholarships to patients that demonstrate a need and show a true desire to find their way to a healthier lifestyle. The Cardiac Rehabilitation program is a prescribed exercise, education and diet program that helps an individual with heart disease return to a more normal and productive lifestyle.
