Deputies have arrested two teenagers in the armed robbery of the Dollar General store in Riverdale on February 25th, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Arnette said Cornelius Jackson, age 18, of Dillon, and Devonte Wheeler, age 18, of Dillon, have both been charged with armed robbery. Deputies were seeking a third suspect at the time of this report.
According to Arnette, “On Thursday, February 25, just after 9:00 p.m., the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an armed robbery in progress at the Dollar General on Highway 9 in the Riverdale Community of Dillon. Upon arrival of law enforcement at the Dollar General, three suspects were fleeing the store. Two of the three suspects were apprehended at the store, and the third individual fled the scene.”
