Hubert Earl Watson died at his home March 30, 2015.
The funeral services were held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at East Dillon Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home.
He was a retired Ford car salesman, owner of Watson and Son Rentals, and he was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church. A former deacon, Sunday school teacher, and choir member.
He is survived by his wife Alma Watson of 53 years, daughter Amy Watson, daughter-in-law Marty Watson, grandchildren Leah (Jonathan) McKenzie of Latta, S.C., Frannie Rogers of Dillon, S.C., Allison and Pierce Watson of Dillon, S.C., Two great-granddaughters, Carson and Avery McKenzie of Latta, S.C., Brother Hagood (Dot) Watson of Dillon, S.C., Sisters, Jane (Darroll) Collins of Mullins, S.C., Ann (Randy) Byrd and Nan (John) Carmichael both of Latta, S.C., Brother-in-law James D. Rogers of Rowland, N.C., Nieces and Nephew, A God Son Robert Earl (Terri) Johnson of Latta, S.C., and a special family friend Ginger Bethea of Rowland, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his son Hugh Watson, Sister Dot Rogers, and his mother and father Eva and Pierce Watson.
