The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two ambulance fires that have occurred at the same business, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
On Sunday, April 19, the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a business on Highway 301 between Dillon and Latta in reference to a vehicle fire, the vehicle was an ambulance belonging to Extreme Medical Transport, Arnette said.
On Saturday, April 25, the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office responded to another vehicle fire at the same business and this vehicle was an ambulance also.
The Dillon County Fire Station 2 responded to the fires and requested the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office due to the fires being suspicious.
The fires have been determined to have been intentionally set and are currently under investigation by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
