Elizabeth Caulder Driggers, 76, died at the McLeod Hospice House Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Latta Baptist Church with interment in Magnolia Cemetery, Pastor Rob Pierce and Pastor Carroll Stephens officiating. Visitation was from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 15, 2015 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta.
Mrs. Driggers was born in Fork, SC September 1, 1938, the daughter of the late Gary and Pearl Pulley Caulder. She retired from Dupont in Florence, SC as a Permanent Investment Coordinator after twenty-three years employment. During her career she also worked at Caromaid Ice Cream and Dillon County Farm Bureau. She was very active in Latta Baptist Church, having kept the nursery, taught the Primary and Junior Sunday School Class, and a member of the Harriet Dew Sunday School Class. Elizabeth also was a previous member of the Latta Jacettes.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Larry G. Driggers of the home; sons David G. Driggers (Rebekah) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Paul A. Driggers (Barbara) of Latta, SC; daughter, Gina D. Snow (Adrian) of Winston-Salem, NC; brother, Ansel Caulder (Murielene) of Pee Dee, SC; and grandchildren, Kassie Barnett (Michael), Kevin Driggers, and Macy Snow. She was predeceased by her sister, Betty Coward, and brothers, Billy Caulder, Ray Caulder and Frank Caulder.
