Graveside services for Margaret Walters Singleton were held 4:00 p.m. Monday at Riverside Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home in Dillon, SC.
Mrs. Singleton, 81, died Friday, June 5, 2015 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.
Born in Fairmont, NC, June 10, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Everett Jay Walters and Mary Branch Walters.  She was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie (Mickey) Meekins of Lumberton, NC, Sheree (Joe) Reich of Covington, LA, and Joy Corbett of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Everett Jay Walters, Jr. of Massachusetts; sisters, Betty Malcolm, and Fran Finley, both of Sumter, SC; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Singleton was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Singleton; daughter, Karen Leigh Singleton; son-in-law, Charlie Corbett; sisters, Louise Hallman, Evelyn Eagerton, and Vivian Helton; brothers, Harvey Walters and Joe Walters.
