JV Warriors Fall 29-19 to Bobcats

The JV Warrior boys held a 7-6 lead over the Bobcats of Carolina Academy at the end of the first period but watched the lead slip away in the second period and had the Warriors playing catch up for the remainder of the game on Friday.

Dillon All Stars Fall to Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant scored a late touchdown in the fourth quarter to break a 6-6 tie Saturday morning to edge the Dillon Parks and Recreation 11-12 All Stars, 14 to 6, to take the Lower State Championship at Memorial Stadium.

Wildcats Capture Third State Title in Five Years with 21-6 Win Over Fairfield Central

Another State title and at a different stadium in South Carolina each time for the Class 2A Division I Champion Dillon Wildcats, which captured its third championship in the past five years. This time it was at Benedict College’s Charles W. Johnson Stadium in Columbia where the Cats defeated the Fairfield Central Griffins, 21-6, Friday evening. The first in 2008 was at Clemson University and the second in 2009 was at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.
