DHSF Chairman Releases Comments Regarding Historical Marker Placement At J.V. Martin

Appointments Made To Library Board
An appointment was made to the Dillon County Library Board to replace Bill Lee, who resigned from the board, at a recent Dillon County Council meeting.
Allen Lamar Bailey, Sr.
Services for Allen Lamar Bailey, Sr. will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with full military honors will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 Monday at the funeral home.

Name Change for Local Historic School Advocacy Group
The Dillon Historic School Foundation held their August meeting at the Dillon County Chamber of Commerce Conference Room with nine members present. Chairman Gerald Berry welcomed two new members to the organization and made several announcements.
