Admin 2I would like to thank our Latta Recreation Department for sponsoring Holiday at Heritage Park in Latta throughout the month of December. This was a great event for all, especially the children who had the opportunity to meet Santa.
Admin 2The Eta Iota Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. will celebrate the 99th “Founder’s Day” on January 27, 2013 at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 215 Covington St., Latta, SC at 4 p.m.
Annie L. German of Dillon, died January 16, 2013. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. The family is receiving friends at 1112 Evans Place, Dillon.
Mrs. Annie Bethea Reaves, age 91, of Dillon passed away on Wedneday, January 16, 2013.
Admin 2At 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 27 at historic Pee Dee Presbyterian Church there will be held the Annual Kirkin’ of the Tartans. This is essentially a service commemorating our Scottish heritage although the service was actually originated in America.
