Jury Selected In Stutts Murder Trial

A little over a month after his brother received two life sentences in the murder and kidnapping of 75-year-old Mary Alice Stutts of Dillon, a trial is being held for Damien Inman in the same case before the same judge.

County Administrator Mobley Resigns

After a nearly hour-long executive session in the second called council meeting this week, Dillon County Administrator David Mobley resigned from his position effective at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 10th.

William Monroe “Catfish” Powers, 55, died at his home in Latta, SC, December 3, 2010. Visitation will be held in Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta, Saturday December 4, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Sunday December 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Latta with burial in Tarte Cemetery
