The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce, in partnership with the Bureau of Labor Statistics, reported today that South Carolina’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased to 11.0 percent in September from a revised rate of 11.1% in August.

Marion Duncan Lee, 87, died Friday, November 19, 2010 in the Mullins Nursing Center in Mullins, SC. Visitation will be Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Funeral services in Union Baptist Church will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 21, 2010, with burial in the church cemetery.
