My wife and I did not travel extensively, but when we did it was mostly in the two Carolinas and especially in the western part of North Carolina. We loved the mountains and visited often the Boone/Blue Ridge Parkway area. During our travels we also enjoyed trying out new places for dining. We were not sophisticated gourmands by any means.
Funeral service for Ms. Nkunzimana Maliselina was held Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Outreach Family Fellowship, Dillon, SC with Pastor Michael Goings officiating.
Went to Florence, SC on 9-24 to hear the lawyers from Marlboro County vs. the lawyers from MRR, ZV Pate. Most of the Marlboro County Council members were there including its chair lady Dr. Carolyn Prince. It was mostly big lawyer talk with one judge presiding.

Toni Graves of Dillon was honored as 2010 Field Instructor of the Year on Friday, October 22, at Coker College’s annual Social Work Conference. The theme was “Redefining Ready: Preparing the Next Generation for the Future.”

Mayor Pro-Tem Randolph Gurley was indicted on four charges by a Dillon County grand jury last week.
The Latta Town Council’s regularly scheduled November meeting has been changed from Thursday, November 11th to Thursday, November 18th due to Veterans Day.
