Services for Joyce Bourgoin Carter was held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Oakland Holiness Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The Pilot Club of Dillon met Thursday, June 23, at the City of Dillon Fire Dept. Twenty-one people were present. This meeting was our Senior Supper and several guests attended.
The Main Street United Methodist Church Men held a golf tournament this spring to benefit the American Red Cross.
The Dillon County 4-H shooting team won 1st place in the senior division of the 4-H State Championship Skeet shoot which was held on Sunday of the Memorial Day Weekend.
The 50th Bethea Family Reunion (1918-2016) celebrating 98 years was held on Saturday, June 18 and 19.
