During the Friday, August 31, Dillon football game, former Dillon player Jamie Callahan was awarded South Carolina Gatorade High School Player of the Year.
Dillon’s Jamie Callahan took the mound for the Gulf Coast League Red Sox in two more regular season games to round out his first season of minor league baseball with a 1-0 record and a 5.19 ERA.
The Dillon Wildcats football team was recently ranked ninth nationally in the Maxpreps.com small school rankings.
