Latta’s Donell Stanley was named Class A Lower State Lineman of the Year and Dillon’s Damu Ford was named Class 2A Lower State Back of the Year by the South Carolina Football Coaches Association.

In his third year as head coach of the Latta Vikings, Kelly Williamson took a program that had not won five games in the previous five seasons before he took over the helm to finishing with a 7-3 record, earning him the Lower State Class A Coach of the Year honors.
