Mrs. Bethea was born April 6, 1946 in Dillon to the late Albert and Eva Norton Rowell.

Superintendent Speaks To DHSF
The Dillon Historical School Foundation (DHSF) met for the regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at the Dillon Chamber of Commerce Office, with an over-capacity attendance with members and new members present.

I attend one of the eight named Presbyterian Churches in Dillon County, one that was organized in 1871 when many of the members of Little Pee Dee Presbyterian Church (no longer active) decided the long wagon/buggy trip there from the upper part of the county was a problem thus Kentyre came into being.

Georgia Man Dies In Wreck
A Georgia man died as a result of a wreck on Saturday, Sept. 12, that occurred on I-95 near the 186 mile marker, according to Coroner Donnie Grimsley.
