Because of continued decreases in federal funding, the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) will regionalize some of its in-person unemployment services starting Feb. 19.

Fifty residents of 16 South Carolina counties including Dillon may be eligible to receive pre-employment training, heavy equipment operator training and/or commercial drivers’ license training in the field of highway construction.

The Dillon Wildcats overpowered the Loris Lions 82-45 at home in Dillon on Monday night.
Dillon’s Lady Wildcats picked up a 54-26 win over the Loris Lions at home on Monday night.
