When the curtain opens for another performance of “Nice Work If You Can Get It” at Broadway’s Imperial Theatre, the audience will be greeted by the Chorus Girls dancing to the upbeat rhythm of Gershwin’s “Sweet and Lowdown”. Cameron Adams of Myrtle Beach will be dancing with the chorus.
It was a trip down Memory Lane earlier this month for Joe Moffett of Dillon when he and his wife Helen traveled to Corpus Christi, TX for his induction to The Miller High School Athletic Hall of Fame, along with six other former athletes of Miller High.
Betty Jo Johnson, chair of the Dillon Three School Board, was re-elected to the South Carolina School Boards Association (SCSBA) Board of Directors as the Region 4 Director during the association’s annual business meeting held on December 1. Services for Charles Allen Skipper will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hamer Church of God with burial in Evergreen Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
