The Dillon City Council passed the first reading of two ordinances on Monday night outlawing bath salts and synthetic marijuana.
Larry Eugene Cook, 60, died at home Friday, September 9, 2011. Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Sunday, September 11, 2011 in Little Rock Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Kannaday Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 7:00- 9:00 PM Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon, SC.
Services for Tommy Ray Hyatt will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday in Dillon Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Eugene Paige, better known as “Croak,” of Little Rock died September 3 at his residence.
Aaron Lee Lawrence of Dillon died Monday, September 6, 2011 at McLeod Medical Center, Dillon.
Dameon Windell Blakley, 28, of Dillon died September 5, 2011.
Services for Jerry Wayne Taylor weree held Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery of Dillon. Visitation was 6-8 Tuesday in the funeral home.
A Dillon man has been charged in the deadly shooting of his nephew, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
