On Oct. 16, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) submitted to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) the state’s COVID-19 Vaccine Plan. The overarching goal of this vaccination plan is the equitable distribution of the vaccine across the state, based on the most current federal guidance and recommendations.
The tornado on Sunday has been confirmed by the National Weather Service.
It was late in the afternoon on opening day of shrimping season and two boats were coming home from a day of shrimping in McClellanville. The proud boats rode a little higher on the trailers that day because both had caught limits of shrimp to bring home for many good meals to come.

The Yellow Jessamine Garden Club kicked off their new year with a phenomenal meeting on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.
The final Pop-Up Farmers Market of the year was held Monday in the South Plaza.
