In response to the “Woman Responds to Ad”: Mrs. McAllister, I didn’t see the ad you are referring to, but I do agree we are NOT dumb; we have smart, caring, intelligent people in Dillon County.
I made this pineapple side dish last night and we had it with chicken. It also pairs well with pork.
Director Jerry Strickland presented the Dillon County ATEC budget at the Dillon County Board of Education’s meeting in June.
The Dillon County Board of Education voted unanimously to keep their same slate of officers at a recent meeting.
The Dillon 10 and under softball team won the state championship in Florence on Wednesday, July 13.

Mrs. Patricia M. Moody died Thursday, July 13, 2016 at McLeod Medical Center of Dillon after an illness.
Various matters were discussed at the July meeting of the Dillon City Council.
