Admin 2After input from the community in a public forum the Latta School Board of Trustees voted unanimously to collect tuition fees from non-resident students enrolled in the district’s schools consistent with S. C. State law and current school board policy.

Admin 2The kindergarten students of East Elementary participated in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients program which raises funds to find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma research, and for patient services.

Admin 2After advancing through two phases of competition, the Latta High School JROTC Leadership team composed of Sarah Carter, Buster Causey, Ma’de-Cruz Wiggins, Amber Roberts and Maston Sweat will participate in the final championship round of The 2012 Army JROTC Leadership Symposium in Washington D.C., on the campus of George Mason University, June 22 – 26, 2012.
