God’s Word Shines

For the past several weeks, I’ve been working on our second annual Marriage Retreat to be held in Myrtle Beach in February of next year. I decided to personally visit some of the hotels that could handle the number of people and the needs we have for a marriage retreat.

Marlboro Electric Reducing Rates Again

For the fourth year in a row, Marlboro Electric Cooperative, Inc. (“MEC”) is reducing energy charges during a time that increases are becoming the new norm. The decrease in rates will benefit members throughout MEC’s service area in Marlboro and Dillon counties.

Final Order Issued In L.O.S.T. Case

The Honorable Michael G. Nettles, Circuit Court Judge, has issued a final order filed Thursday which held that Dillon County’s Council acted unlawfully when it, by a 4-3 vote, included Local Option Sales Tax (LOST) funds historically allocated to the Dillon County Board of Education in its own budget.
