The Latta Revitalization Commission (LRC) is thrilled to be hosting a Harvest Festival for the community on Saturday, October 18th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in and around Veteran’s Park in Downtown Latta. This will be a day of fellowship, fun and all things FALL!
The Dillon County Council approved the first reading of an Ordinance Adopting and Approving Changes to Dillon County Zoning Relating to Family Child Care Homes in RU-Rural/Agriculture District Uses and RS-1 Single Family Residential District Uses.
The council approved a new request for $25,000 for a road to help bring Taco Bell to the area.

The Rebecca Pickens Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution held its first meeting of the new year 2014-2015 at the Wellness Center on 9 September, with thirteen members present.
