Mayor Dennis Townsend welcomed everyone and opened the meeting with prayer.
Four people have filed to run for the unexpired Latta Town Council terms left vacant by the resignations of Councilman Joe Williamson and Councilman Robert McIntyre.
In a 5-1 vote, the Dillon County Council agreed to turn over the recreation program to the City of Dillon, but with much different terms than originally proposed.

Since there was no quorum present and a meeting could not take place, a public forum was held to allow concerned parties in attendance a chance to voice their opinions.
