Jobs in South Carolina go unfilled since many of our citizens who are applying for these jobs lack the skills needed. Some of the most complained about by potential employers are categorized as soft skills.
Here is the video from the Dillon City Council meeting on September 14, 2015. Some of the things discussed in this video are upcoming events, the Highway 301 bridge replacement, the need for motels/hotels in the city, walking dogs at the Wellness Center, Fireball Run coming to Dillon, and council member reports.
The Dillon County Council passed a resolution at their last meeting “to congratulate Harvest Hope Food Bank for its work to bring awareness to the issue of hunger in South Carolina and to recognize Hunger Awareness and Action Month.”
Citizen Dan Gruszka appeared before the Dillon County Council at their last meeting to request that the council start saying the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of each meeting.
