MARCH OF DIMES—On April 29, 2016, the McLeod Dillon March of Dimes team held a butterfly release in honor or in memory of healthy, premature, special needs, angels and miscarried babies. Proceeds benefited the March of Dimes.

Angela McLeod, age 44, of Dillon, was charged in a 2-count indictment with bribery, a violation of Title 18, U. S. C. §201(b)(2)(C) and bringing contraband into a federal prison, a violation of Title 18, U. S. C. §1791(a)(1).
A new bridge will be built on Highway 301 North in Dillon at Kentyre Road, and work is underway to make that happen.
