Despite the threat of stormy weather, the 6th Annual Dillon County Shrimp-casting Contest was held on Sunday afternoon, September 7, at Kathi and Brownie Campbell’s pool.
For many years, Charles Snipes (Flowers by Charles) put together the Latta Christmas Parade. With the unfortunate passing of Charles this past spring, so passed all of his preparatory paperwork: all contacts, addresses, phone numbers, etc. are nowhere to be found. We who are attempting to pull it all together are asking for your help.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority of Marion-Dillon Counties was recognized at the national convention in Washington, DC. The Zetas placed second for the National ZHOPE Community Award.
