75th Baby Born In Dillon County
Kenly Paige Owens, the 75th baby born in Dillon County this year at McLeod Medical Center Dillon has a better chance for a long and healthy life than earlier generations, thanks to 75 years of health advances, made possible in part by the March of Dimes. Kenly was born at 39 weeks on March 18, 2013 weighing 6 lbs. 11 oz. to Jennifer James & Corey Owens.

Dillon County Chosen For Site Readiness Program
Duke Energy Progress has chosen 170 acres of undeveloped land located between the city of Dillon and Little Rock in South Carolina to participate in the utility’s 2013 Site Readiness Program.
