Gov. Nikki Haley joined officials from Miami-based Essex Holdings Inc., a global resources company, today in announcing the company’s plans to establish a new facility in Marion County. The $54.4 million investment is expected to generate 215 new jobs.

Public Input Sought On SNAP Food List

Dillon Men Sentenced On Counterfeit Check Charges

United States Attorney Bill Nettles stated that Eduardo Nelson, James Quashaun Scott, both age 27 and of Dillon, SC, were sentenced in federal court in Florence, for conspiracy to manufacture and pass counterfeit securities, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 371.
