Record-Breaking Atlantic Hurricane Season Draws To End

The extremely active 2020 Atlantic hurricane season is drawing to a close with a record-breaking 30 named storms and 12 landfalling storms in the continental United States. While the official hurricane season concludes on November 30, tropical storms may continue to develop past that day.

DHEC Publishes South Carolina’s COVID-19 Vaccine Plan

On Oct. 16, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) submitted to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) the state’s COVID-19 Vaccine Plan. The overarching goal of this vaccination plan is the equitable distribution of the vaccine across the state, based on the most current federal guidance and recommendations.
