THE 7- & 8-YEAR-OLD Dillon County Recreation team won the State Championship. They defeated Easley, 42-0. They gave up zero points in each game during the All-Star playoff games
The Dillon County Recreation League 7- and 8-year olds defeated North Charleston 40-0 to capture the Lower State Championship in a game played at Dillon Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 10, at noon.
One of Ashley Phillips’ dreams came true as she signed to play softball for the University of South Carolina-Union.
