Local Teams Advance In World Series
Our local teams are doing quite well in the World Series in Lousiana.
Hartsville Northern Downs McLeod Park 11-0, 11-1 to Claim Majors State Title
The Hartsville Northern All Stars beat McLeod Park twice Thursday morning, 11-0 and 11-1, to win the South Carolina Majors Dixie Youth Baseball State Tournament at the City of Dillon Sports Complex and will represent South Carolina in the World Series in Lexington next week.

Dillon Native Wins SCASA Lifetime Achievement Award
A Dillon native has been named 2015 SCASA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. The S.C. Association of School Administrators (SCASA) and South Carolina Association of Governmental Organizations (SCAGO) presents the award.

Pee Dee Junior Golfers Visit City of Dillon Municipal Golf Course
Nearly 40 junior golfers from across the Pee Dee visited the City of Dillon Municipal Golf Course on Thursday, July 16, as part of the South Carolina Junior Golf Association’s Hootie and the Blowfish Summer Tour.
