The Dillon Christian School Warriors fell 23-2 and 11-0 to the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes in varsity baseball action last week.

For most of the season, Latta girls weren’t even ranked in the top 10. Now, they’re the last team standing in the lower state after earning a 58-48 win over Hemingway on Saturday to claim the title and a shot at the state championship.

The Lady Wildcats’ perfect season came to an end on Saturday as Dillon fell 68-53 to Bishop England in the girls’ Class AA Lower State Championship at the Florence Civic Center.
The Dillon Christian School Lady Warriors hosted the Lady Golden Tornados of Fairmont High School on Thursday and lost 15-0 before traveling to Fairmont on Friday for a rematch and falling 18-0.
