Latta’s 10 and under boys Coach Pitch All-Stars finished as runner-up in the District 10 Boys All-Stars tournament held from June 24 through June 28.

On Wednesday, July 6, Dillon’s Kwinton Smith verbally committed to play football for the University of South Carolina in 2012. The senior wide-receiver is the 11th player to verbally commit for the 2012 class, and the first receiver to commit.
