Whittaker Head Start students participated in International Walk To School Day. Students were first treated to a presentation by Dr. Dante Lewis. Then they were taken to a convenience store in Little Rock and walked back to the school. More than 100 schools and over 50,000 students, parents, educators, and neighbors in South Carolina participated in the event. Sharron Charles is the director of the Whittaker Head Start Center.
