You may soon see several trucks hauling dirt on Highway 57 South. DHEC recently approved another mining permit for Dillon County for a borrow pit to complete the work being done at the IWP (Industrial Waste Landfill).
Dillon County trucks started hauling last week, and this week the Dillon County trucks will be joined by trucks from Goodson Construction, the company in charge of the work being done to close the landfill.
