Ms. Stella V. McKenzie, 82, was serenaded by angels on Saturday, March 2, 2013.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon, SC with burial in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Ms. McKenzie, born August 15, 1930, lived in Dillon, SC for 77 years and had made her home with her daughter Rose Wainwright in Greenville for the past five years. 
She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Josephine Morgan and husband, Rev. Joseph B. of Florence, SC, Linda Morgan of Latta, SC, Rosalie Wainwright and husband Jeff, of Greenville, NC, Connie Gaddy and husband Robert, of Latta, SC, Clercy Davis and husband, Jimmy of Dillon, SC, and Clair Brower and husband, Don, of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Margaret Hayes of Hamer, SC and Bell Bryant of Dillon, SC; brother, Bobby Johnson and wife, Katrina of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews; special daughter, Gladys Carter of Dillon.
Ms. McKenzie was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Cora Byrd Johnson; sisters, Agnes Ward and Frances Poston; and brothers, Bud, Jasper, and Harvey Johnson.
