Elizabeth Hazel Anderson Horne, 77, died at the Commander Nursing Center in Florence, SC, Thursday, May 23, 2013. Funeral services were May 26, 2013 at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon, with interment in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation was from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. prior to the service at the Chapel.
Mrs. Horne was born in Dillon, SC, July 8, 1935, the daughter of the late C. E. and Lena Parker Anderson. She was of the Baptist faith.
She worked as a secretary before her retirement. She was the widow of Hayes Coy Horne.
She is survived by her adopted daughters, Vickie Goodwin (Stanley) of Floyd Dale, SC, Cricket Taylor (Patrick) of Florence, SC, and Jamie Snipes of Dillon, SC; grandchildren, Stanley Goodwin (Suzie), Dana Marsh (Mac), and Glenna Taylor (Justin Wisnoski);and great grandchildren, Annsley Goodwin, Ashton Goodwin, and Aubrey Goodwin.
She was predeceased by her brother, Cleo Eugene Anderson and special friend James Horace Snipes.
