A wreck on I-95 South at the 174 mile marker closed down the interstate for about 2 1/2 hrs. due to this accident (7:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.) on July 2. The Windy Hill Fire Department, Dillon EMS and DCFD Station Nine were the emergency services who responded. There was an estimated 200 gallons of diesel fuel that leaked from the damaged trucks. The fuel tanks were plugged and the fuel was dammed and diked to prevent damage to the environment. No one was injured in this accident.
