On Saturday, July 20, 15-year old Jon Corius Wilson of Dillon was competing in his first International Kickboxing Federation (IKF) Point Kickboxing Tournament.

The event was held at the beautiful Rosen Shingle Resort in Orlando, Florida. Semi contact fighters traveled across the country and some internationally to compete in the event.

Wilson scored a third place medal this time but is making plans to compete again at the International East Coast Classic Kickboxing event coming to South of the Border on October 18th, 19th and 20th.

Wilson is the son of Cory and Tasha Wilson. Wilson trains at the Superfoot Kickboxing and Fitness Club of Dillon.
