Services for James L. Hubbard will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
     Mr. Hubbard, 79, died Friday, November 1, 2013 at his residence.
     Born in Laurinburg, NC, June 27, 1934, he was the son of the late Earnest Hubbard and Emma Dees Hubbard.  He was retired from Herald Multiforms after 50 years of service, and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
     Survivors include his wife, Helen Hubbard of Dillon; son, Edward L. (Vera) Hubbard of Dillon; daughter, Brenda (Kelly) Smith of Dillon; step-sons, Mitchell (Diane) Sellers, and Michael (Donna) Sellers, both of Dillon; grandchildren, Preston (Bridget) Hubbard, Cody, Logan, and Nicholas Smith, Nikki, Kayla, and Charlotte Sellers; 1 great-grandchild, Braeden Hubbard; brother, John Hubbard of Dillon.
     Mr. Hubbard was preceded in death by his first wife, Loretta Lewis Hubbard.
