Mr. Hal Causey died Monday, February 17, 2014 at McLeod Medical Center of Dillon.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 11:00 am at Trinity Holiness Church of Gaddy Mill.  A burial service will follow at Lake View Cemetery. The family received friends on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.
Mr. Causey was born in Dillon County, the son of the late Lee and Vivian Henderson Causey, Jr.  He was a carpenter by trade and a member of Trinity Holiness Church in Gaddy Mill.  He served the community by working on both the Neighbors Helping Neighbors and Neighbors Feeding Neighbors programs.
Mr. Causey is survived by his wife, Susan S. Causey; daughter; Shirley Strickland of Florence, brothers, Mike Causey of Latta (Susie), Steve Causey of Dillon; sister, Janet Ammons (Richard) of Lake View; and 2 grandchildren, Jennifer and Matthew Strickland.
