A dedication celebration was held at Lighthouse Full Gospel Church at their new location at 2005 Highway 301 South, Dillon.
The church has been in existence for 13 years and during this time has been at three locations. Pastor Sarah Jackson said this will be the final location before heaven.
“We are so thankful that God has made it possible for us to have this great facility to serve the people of this area,” said Pastor Jackson.
During the dedication celebration service, the prelude was played by Judy Ivey. Deacon Wayne Byrd welcomed those in attendance. This was followed by a prayer by Travis Jackson. Marie Byrd performed the solo, “The Lighthouse.”

Beth Jackson presented the history of the church.
The offering was taken. Special music and remarks were given by Jim Bunch. The dedicatory sermon was preached by Reverend Jerry Love. His sermon was based on Matthew 10:11-13. Pastor Jackson and congregation then dedicated the church. Pastor Jackson presented the deed.
A call to action was given by Travis Jackson and the board.
Pastor Jackson gave the dedicatory prayer.
The congregation sang “So Much To Thank Him For.”
Eugene Hunt gave the closing prayer followed by the benediction by Pastor Jackson and the postlude by Judy Ivey.
Services are held at the following times: Sunday – Men’s Prayer Service, 8:30 a.m; Sunday School, 10:00 a.m.; Sunday Morning Worship, 11:00 a.m.; Children’s Church, 11:30 a.m.; Church Wide Prayer, 5:30 p.m.; Evening Worship, 6:00 p.m.; Monday – Special Prayer, 6:00 p.m.; Bible Study, 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday – Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting, 7:00 p.m. Brotherhood and Women’s Ministries meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
