Miriam Juanita Felkel Bozard, better known as Mickey, passed away at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC on May 30, 2014.
She was born on October 28, 1920 in the Midway Section of Calhoun County and was the oldest daughter of the late Preston Raysor Felkel and Pearl King Felkel.  
She married the late John David Bozard of the Four Holes Community in 1939. Mickey was an active member of White House United Methodist Church for more than 75 years, serving in various capacities, including church pianist and organist for many years.
After the death of her husband in 1989, she eventually moved to Orangeburg. In 2008, she became a permanent resident of The Methodist Oaks.
She is survived by her son, Daniel David Bozard and his wife J®≠n, of Dillon, SC; her daughter, Elaine Bozard Bishop and her husband Dr. Andy Bishop, of Holly Hill, SC; grandchildren, John David Bishop and his wife Freda, of Charlotte, NC, Kevin Daniel Bishop and his wife Julie, of Easley, SC, Derek Brunson Bishop, of Greenville, SC, Colonel Jeffrey Craig Bozard, USAF and his wife Devon ,of Alexandria, VA, and  Jennifer Lynne Bozard, of Charleston, SC; seven great-grandchildren, Chandler Bishop, of Charoltte, NC, Preston, Ella, Will, and Margaret Bishop, of Easley, SC, and Anna and Avalon Bozard, of Alexandria, VA; a sister, Doris (Sissy) Shuler, of Orangeburg, SC; nieces and nephews, Ron Shuler and Bet (Boyd) Shuler, of Orangeburg, SC, Joyce Weathers (Larry) Rast, of Trinity, NC, and Jimmy (Rosalyn) Weathers of Bowman, SC; and a special friend George Weathers.
The family expresses appreciation to The Methodist Oaks for the fellowship she enjoyed over the past six years.
A celebration of life was held at the Springer Chapel at The Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 4:00 p.m.
Visitation will be held in the Magnolia Room at The Oaks following the service.
