Latta – Helen Lee Harrelson Rogers, 61, died at McLeod Regional Medical Center Florence, Thursday, July 3, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday, July 05, 2014 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon.

Mrs. Rogers was born on August 8, 1952, in Dillon, SC, the daughter of the late McDuffie and Ruby Lee Meares Harrelson. She was a member of Dillon Church of God. She was the widow of James Edward Rogers.

She is survived by her sons, Jason McNeil Rogers of Marion, SC, James Corey (Shelley) Rogers of Latta, SC; daughters, Kimberly Diane Carter and Brittany Leigh Hartley (Ryan) both of Latta, SC; brother, David Lane of Richmond,Virginia; sisters, Doris Sessoms of Bennettsville, SC, Iris Mackett of Buffalo, NY, Mary Thomson of Buffalo, NY, and Freda Love of Jacksonville, NC; seven grandchildren, Presley McNeil, Brooke Carter, Bryson Rogers, Jamie Rogers, Randy Smith, Alexus Smith, Bella Rogers; and one great grandchild, Bentley Hartley.
