Mrs. Aldia M. Rogers, 78, died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center after an illness.
A funeral service was Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 5:00 pm at Fork Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends Friday, June 27, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.
Mrs. Rogers was born in Dillon County, the daughter of the late Cornie Wade and Mary Emma Thompson Lupo. She was a member of Fork Baptist Church.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by a son, Richard David “Ricky” Perritte of Fork; a daughter, Rose Marie Rogers of Florence; 2 brothers, Robert Lupo (Danie) of Greensboro, NC, William Lupo (Anne) of Dillon; 2 brother in laws, E. F. Horne, Sr. and Bobby Branch; and a sister in law, Elizabeth “Lib” Lupo; 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
She was the widow of the late William F. “Bill” Rogers, Sr. She was preceded in death by a son, William E. “Billy” Perritte; brother, Jim Lupo; sisters, Elsie Horne, Lois Branch, and Agnes Stokes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
