Services for John Jason Lane will be held 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 3:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
     Mr. Lane, 37, died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after injuries sustained in a motorcycle acccident.
     Born in Marion, SC, October 6, 1976, he was the son of John Franklin Lane and Dorothy Ann Woodell Lane.  He was employed by ACS Technologies in Florence.
     Survivors include his wife, Dawn Lee Lane of Marion; daughter, Allyson Lane of Marion; mother, Dorothy Lane of Dillon; father, John Franklin Lane of Dillon; brothers, Jimmy (Sheila) Chapman, and Richard Allen Lane, both of Dillon; sisters, Darlene (Ricky) Martin, and Venise (Wayne) Hayes both of Dillon; special nephew, Dalton; numerous nieces and nephews.
     Mr. Lane was preceded in death by his brother, Jonathan Lane.
