Carvie Hunt, Jr., 69, died Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Carolina Hospital System of Florence.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Latta with interment Oak Grove Little Bless Holiness Church. Visitation was held at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Mr. Hunt was born in Latta, South Carolina, April 28, 1945, the son of the late Carvie and Nellie Powers. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith.
He is survived by his brothers, H.B. Hunt of Paisley, FL, Vernon Hunt of Thomasville, NC; sisters, Jeannette Hurse of Franklin, NC, Clarissa Campbell (Danny) of Marion, SC, Madge Hunt of Marion, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Sonny and John Hunt; and sisters, Vergie Clark and Mildred Hunt.
